Queer as Punk – A History of Resistance Headlines PRISM’s 2025 Gala at ArtServe
The youth-led nonprofit’s annual fundraiser honors generations of grassroots activism while advancing LGBTQ-inclusive education and sexual-health resources; tickets on sale now.
Fort Lauderdale, FL, Sept. 18, 2025—PRISM, the youth-led nonprofit expanding access to LGBTQ-inclusive education and sexual health resources for young people across South Florida, will host its 2025 PRISM Gala on Saturday, Oct. 18, at ArtServe (1350 E Sunrise Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304). Themed “Queer as Punk – A History of Resistance,” the gala will celebrate grassroots LGBTQ advocacy and raise funds for year-round programs serving teens and college students across Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties.Rooted in PRISM’s mission to expand access to LGBTQ-inclusive education and sexual health resources so every young person feels included in their community, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression, the event underscores the organization’s work in youth activism, STI testing access, leadership development, and education.
Program highlights include live performance, dinner, interactive exhibits, a silent auction, an awards ceremony, and an exclusive 18+ after-party. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the gala, including the after party, runs until 11:00 p.m.

Early-bird pricing is available through Oct. 4. Early Bird (main reception only) is $50.
After-Party only (18+; does not include main reception) is $20.
VIP Early Bird is $150 and includes bottle service, a special VIP cocktail, and complimentary after-party admission; regular pricing follows Oct. 4–17, with day-of tickets available Oct. 18 as capacity allows.
PRISM’s work spans youth activism, an STI Clinic Search tool for free/low-cost testing, the PRISM Student Ambassador Program for high-school and college leaders, and a robust library of educational content on sexual health, LGBTQ history, and more—delivered online and across social channels.
Sponsorships are available; benefi ts range from web and social recognition and logo placement in event materials to VIP seating opportunities at higher tiers.
