We are thrilled to announce Florida BlaQ Out Pride Weekend, a much anticipated follow up to the iconic 2025 Back to BlaQ celebration of Florida’s Black LGBTQ+ Pride. 

In June 2025, Back to BlaQ debuted in Wilton Manors, not just as a party or one time event, but as a proclamation that Black LGBTQ+ people belong at the center of Pride celebrations.

With over 1,200 attendees from around Florida and beyond, the inaugural event surpassed every expectation, igniting a vibrant space where joy, freedom, expression, and community took center stage. Back to BlaQ created historical moments of joy and reclamation, and showed what’s possible when you move with intention.

The 2025 Back to BlaQ Impact Report makes it clear: the community showed up in numbers and spirit. Attendees praised: the atmosphere of safety and affirmation, the presence of Black LGBTQ+ performers and vendors, and the bold representation of unapologetic Black queer joy. But perhaps the most powerful insight: nearly every attendee asked for more.

So, we’re curating bigger and better by making our mark as a national destination for Black LGBTQ+ Pride celebrations in the South.

On June 4-7 2026, Back to BlaQ evolves into Florida BlaQ Out Pride Weekend, a multi-day, destination celebration grounded in Black LGBTQ+ liberation, community, and joy. This expanded weekend will include the signature Back to BlaQ celebration, while weaving together programming that amplifies arts, health and wellness, and economic opportunity for local business owners. With an anticipated attendance of 3,000+ people, the expanded programming will reflect the feedback and dreams of our community, creating a more intergenerational, inclusive, and immersive experience.
