State of the Heart - panel discussion and community conversation
Join supporters of The Gay Men's Chorus of South Florida and Stonewall National Museum & Archives as we celebrate Pride month and come together for "State of the Heart," an evening celebration of LGBT art, culture and conversation. A panel moderated by Fort Lauderdale Commissioner Dean J. Trantalis, will include David Jobin, Executive Director of Stonewall National Museum & Archives, Mark B. Kent, newly appointed Executive Director of the Gay Men?s Chorus of South Florida, and Andy Rogow, Artistic Director of Island City Stage, leading a discussion about where local LGBT arts and cultural organizations are heading in the wake of the Supreme Court?s upcoming marriage decision and how that decision will impact philanthropy in the greater South Florida arts and LGBT communities. They will be joined in the conversation by local business leader(s) who will then open the discussion for questions from the audience. The discussion will be immediately followed by a cocktail reception. Join us for what promises to be a lively, informal and informative evening of cocktails and conversation.
