We are honored to welcome Dr. Jo Ann M. Bamdas, Ph.D., Ed.S., as our guest speaker. Dr. Bamdas is a nationally recognized expert in dementia practices and intellectual disabilities. Her credentials include:
- FAU Alum (1999, 2001, 2009)
- Lead Researcher and Student Placement Specialist
- HHS Administration for Community Living Grant Project Manager
- NTG Affiliate Regional Trainer
- Member, National Task Group (NTG) on Intellectual Disabilities and Dementia Practices
- Louis and Anne Green Memory and Wellness Center
Silver PRIDE is a vital education and wellness group serving LGBTQ+ older adults (ages 50+) in Broward County, with a special focus on those aging with chronic illnesses. We offer a safe, affirming space for connection, empowerment, and holistic care.
