Museum of Discovery and Science Wild Florida After Dark at Sawgrass Recreation Park

Join MODS to experience the wonders of Florida after the sun goes down. The adventure begins at MODS with a flashlight tour of our Ecoscapes exhibit. Discover the incredible nighttime nesting process of sea turtles and experience a personal meet and greet with Gigi, our resident loggerhead sea turtle and a baby alligator. Guests will enjoy a pizza dinner before setting off to Sawgrass Recreation Park for an exclusive airboat adventure through the Florida Everglades after dark! The excursion is appropriate for all ages but recommended for children 5 years old and older. All children 17 years old and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

All guests should bring:

• A reusable water bottle
• Bug spray
• Closed-toe shoes

WHEN: April 23 • 5:45 p.m. – 10 p.m.

• 5:45 p.m.: Guests check in at MODS
• 6:00 p.m.: Sea Turtle Talk
• 6:45 p.m.: EcoScapes tour
• 7:15 p.m.: Pizza dinner
• 7:45 p.m.: Guests depart for Sawgrass Recreation Park
        in personal vehicle
• 8:30 p.m.: Airboat tour at Sawgrass Recreation Park
