Get Lit - Light Up Lauderdale

The Get Lit event is a FREE one day event which will take place at Esplanade Park on Thursday, November 12th; 6:00pm – 8:30pm. This family friendly kick off to the holiday season will include live holiday musical performances by the Broward Center Spotlights train rides, kids crafts, face painting, vendors and more!

 We encourage you to bring an unwrapped toy for less fortunate children in our community. 

Light Up Lauderdale runs through early January as a celebration of glittering holiday lights and holiday garland, presented by Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale and the City of Fort Lauderdale. Join us as we flip the switch to kick off this year’s festive Light Up Lauderdale display at the Get Lit event on Thursday, November 17, 2017. This free holiday display showcases the two and half mile brick Riverwalk pathway on both sides of the New River in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. Parking may be easily found in multiple garages, parking lots or at meters throughout Downtown area.
